The overall feel of romance and splendor you get when your plane comes in over the Strip rarely survives its brush with chain-smoking septuagenarians NFL Jerseys Cheap Jerseys at the slot machines, but you still can’t beat the experience of watching a full slate of NFL games at a good Vegas sportsbook.
Courtesy of Lagasse’s Stadium at the Palazzo, that’s just where I’ll be ensconced for today’s action. And speaking of action, since the city fathers of Vegas have seen fit to allow the occasional friendly wager let’s check out the five biggest bets I’ll have riding on today’s games.
For Jacksonville’s part, having a QB in Henne who is simply willing to show NFL courage in the pocket is a huge upgrade. Justin Blackmon has rampaged for two weeks straight, and even if Cecil Shorts sits out Henne has a couple of other options in Mike Brown and Ace Sanders. The Bolts’ corners are bad, and they lack the edge-rush pop to truly take advantage of Jacksonville’s duct-tape tackle tandem. The Chargers can easily score 30 on their own in this one, and the Jags should be able to put up a couple of TDs even if they come in garbage time.
Giants fans were treated to the Brandon Jacobs of old last week against the Bears, as the New York RB rushed 22 times for 106 yards and two touchdowns in defeat. Unfortunately, with the Giants’ RB corps severely depleted already, Jacobs showed up on the team’s injury list this week with a hamstring strain and is listed as questionable for tomorrow’s contest with the Vikings. Jacobs did not practice yesterday after participating earlier in the week, and hamstring injuries are particularly prone to reinjury if not completely healed prior to participating in athletic activities, this is one to watch Order Cheap Jerseys going into Monday night.
The Miami Dolphins look to get back on track against the Buffalo Bills this Sunday in an AFC East divisional showdown.
After jumping out to a 3-0 start, Miami has lost two straight and is in danger of falling too far behind the division-leading Patriots. The Bills, also losers of two Basketball Jerseys For Sale straight, are coming off a heartbreaking overtime loss to the Bengals and sit at 2-4 and last place in the AFC East.
The Dolphins’ offense has struggled with consistency recently, especially with a rushing attack that ranks fourth-worst in the league. A week after putting up 115 yards on the ground against the Saints, they could muster only 22 yards last week against the Ravens. Lamar Miller has been decent with a 4.2 yard carry average, but has not gotten the carry numbers to be a real difference-maker.
With Cecil Shorts III also listed as questionable and receivers Ace Sanders and Stephen Burton, the addition of Blackmon is crucial for a Jaguars offense that ranks Best Place For Cheap Jerseys as the NFL’s worst. Blackmon tallied 14 receptions for 190 yards in the team’s Week 6 loss to the Denver Broncos.
Not much is going right for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and they have received plenty of criticism so far this year. Among the criticism has been the use of cornerback Darrelle Revis, who has been asked to play in zone coverage rather than the typical man-to-man, “Revis Island” coverage that he has become known for. Among the critics is Sander Philipse of SB Nation’s Buccaneers blog, Bucs Nation, who broke down the way Revis has been used in coverage so far.
Buccaneers defensive coordinator Bill Sheridan has had enough and invited any fan who thinks they can better utilize the defensive personnel to join him for a week of game-planning.
New York Jets defensive end Muhammad Wilkerson left the game on Monday night after he suffered an apparent knee injury against the Chicago Bears. The injury occurred late in the fourth quarter when Wilkerson collided with a teammate while attempting to sack Bears quarterback Jay Cutler.
The Jets picked up the ball and would have run it in for a score to put them ahead, but the play was blown dead. After a review, it was determined that Cutler did indeed fumble and the Jets were given possession. Since the play was blown dead, the Jets only received possession and not credit for advancing the ball. Had officials instead ruled it a fumble on the field, the New York defense would have scored. New York’s offense wasn’t able to do anything on the ensuing drive, creating a seven-point swing for the Bears.
Though in obvious pain, Marshall was able to limp off the field and walk to the locker room under his own power. His return was originally listed as probable, but was quickly updated to questionable before halftime. Before he left, Marshall had no catches on three targets. He didn’t appear to be limited at all physically on the field up to the point of suffering the injury.
Marshall has already been dealing with his right ankle this season, and it nearly kept him out of Chicago’s Week 2 game against the 49ers. He wasn’t cleared to play until 90 minutes before that game, though he ended up catching three touchdown passes in the Bears’ win over San Francisco.
The severity of Locker’s injury isn’t clear at this time. Unlike the aforementioned Jarvis Jones, it doesn’t seem as though the team has plans to place the quarterback on injured reserve. Still, Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean reports that Locker “could hardly grip the ball at the end of the game.” That would suggest that he’ll be out for at least Week 4 when the Titans travel to Indianapolis to take on the AFC South rival Colts.
