New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski has been cleared to play on Sunday against the New York Jets, but his status for the game is still up in the air, according to Pro Football Talk.
Gronkowski hasn’t played a game in the 2013 season as he recovers Cheap Jerseys Sale from multiple offseason surgeries to repair his back and forearm. After re-injuring his arm last season, Gronkowski is being extra cautious in his return from injury this time around.
All accounts have been that Gronkowski is dominating in practice and seems to be ready to play. This week was looking like Gronkowski’s best shot to return to the lineup after his team of doctors cleared him to play. He’s still officially listed as questionable on the Patriots injury report and will likely be a game time decision.
Without Gronkowski the Patriots’ offense has been without a top receiving option and hasn’t looked the same thus far in 2013.
The Denver Broncos have been rolling all season, and no team has been able to keep up with them. In fact, the major criticism the Broncos got in a 35-19 win over the Jaguars last week is that they didn’t cover the spread — only the largest in NFL history. It’ll be the first game against the Colts for Peyton Manning since he was let go before the 2012 offseason.
Any other team would dread the idea of a Manning-less team, but during a recent three-game win streak Andrew Luck has virtually washed Peyton from the minds of Indianapolis fans. He took down both the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks during the streak. With the addition of Trent Richardson, the Cheap Jerseys Outlet Shop Colts look like a serious playoff contender. Luck should have a field day against the Broncos secondary, which gives up a league worst 337 yards per game.
