Dolphins re-sign Hall of Famers Dan Marino, Bob Griese, Larry Little in odd tribute

The Dolphins signed a pair of veteran quarterbacks Wednesday. Don’t worry, Ryan Tannehill, your job is safe.

Hall of Fame quarterbacks Dan Marino Trade Cheap Jerseys and Bob Griese were among six former Dolphins players signed to one-day contracts Wednesday so they can officially retire as members of the team. Also signed Wednesday were Hall of Fame guard Larry Little, former linebacker Kim Bokamper, ex-cornerback Sam Madison and former receiver Nat Moore.

“These six former players are being added to the active roster to further emphasize the bond between the organization and the team’s alumni, who helped established the rich legacy of the Miami Dolphins,” the team said in a statement.

Even if these mumblings of “Please … please!” aren’t directed at any specific higher power, they carry with them the notion that the individual pleading will somehow affect what happens on the field, that some kind of force will hear the begging and act on fans’ behalf.

Not to mention that it’s become trendy for churches to have signs like this after big, nail-biting wins.

The other interesting tidbit: God’s interest in sports has apparently dwindled in recent years, according to the survey results. Last year’s survey found 26 percent believed God has a rooting Very Cheap Jerseys interest, which was down from 27 percent in 2013.
